Photographer's Note

We continue our route on the F60 road in the Western Fjords to Thingeyri. Here we are in the fjord of Borgarfjörður, a small fjord in the back of the bigger fjord of Arnarfjörður. This fjord is know for the famous Dynjandi waterfall, one of the most spectacular in Iceland. But before driving down to the waterfall, we make a break on the heights over the fjord to enjoy the view. The river flowing into the Dynjandi waterfall starts to flow down here. The weather was windy, cold, a little rainy, the sky was cloudy, a typical weather for the worst summer the Iceland had for last decades ! But even on poor weather the Iceland landscapes are magic !
