Photographer's Note

It's by an icy cold and under a thick ceiling of fog that I discovered the very famous glacial lake "Jökulsárlón". This one is fed by Breidamerkurjökull, one of the many extensions of the largest icecap of Europe, the Vatnajökull. This place belongs to the national park of Skaftafell, inaugurated in 1964 and increased in 1984.
In addition to the multitude of natural curiosities (glacier, waterfalls, icy lakes, etc.), this park shelters many animals among which seals.
