Photographer's Note
Taken from the boat that was taking me from Vestmannaeyjar back to Þórlakshöfn, a harbour city southeast of Reykjavík.
This cliff is covered in birdnests, mostly puffins. Pretty much every single cavity you see on this shot is occupied by at least one nest.
I decided to crop out the waterline from the shot, which is itself located just below the lower edge of the picture.
