Photographer's Note

I can't honestly tell you where this photo was really is in the middle of no-mans-land.

For the sake of TE, i will place it under the city of Solfoss in the South. Its one of those photo's and scene's where you're literally driving the countryside and you're suddenly overcome with awe.

I remember just feeling compelled to pull the car over to the side of the road and set up my tripod to capture this natural wonder. There is so little traffic and so few people in Iceland that I set my tripod in the middle of the road. I didn't even have to hurry :)

I'm not exactly sure what i photographed, all i know is that its the true Icelandic experience...what a country this is!
