Photographer's Note
As promised, I said I would post another photo of the Selfoss waterfall - but with people.
Now, before you judge, you have to understand what's going on here. It easy to look at this and think, well that's not very impressive.
As the 2 adjacent stone walls converge and get closer and closer to each other, the waterfalls get more and more powerful. I'm standing on one side, obviously.
As the two sides converge, the walking path is no longer walkable, its just too dangerous. So this is taken further out along the path, near the start point - therefore the waterfalls aren't that powerful here.
Please take a look at a WS photo, much further down along the walking path, and you'll see exactly what i'm trying to say.
Hope you enjoy this one

Hello Craig,
Thanks to the different visitors, this photo shows us well the height of the falls.
Nice and interesting to see in which kind of terrain these tourists are located.
Their coats provide a lot of colour in this gray natural environment.
Impressive view of the falls in the WS and also a very impressive point of view in the other photo.
Best regards, Paul

Hello Craig,
The water might not be gushing at this spot, but it's still a wonderful view. The tiny people add specks of bright color to the dark landscape. I like the how they are sandwiched between different kinds of rocks, too. I hope all is well with you and your family. Take care!

Hi Craig,
The presence of the persons has an effect of scale. The point of view is shopwing the details of the water falls. The light is givng good colors rendering. Have a nice day.

Hi Craig
A good pair of photos with the main one having scale from the people but I do like the WS as it shows the power of the falls more.
cheers

Hello Craig,
Superior scale by the people atop the mighty cliff.
Amazing three wonderful photos from this location, show how water carved the rocks in similar pattern through long eras.
Have a nice new day,
Ike

Hi Craig,
Impressive and so beautiful waterfalls, well framed this original POV, good effect with people to give a scale at the view and few colors too, tfs.

Hi Craig,
Such wall of basalt column is very impressive even though the amount of water here is smaller than in the workshop. Again people are essential to get the idea of the scale.

Hello Craig,
I still don't quite understand the "adjacent stone walls converging", but never mind, these are all fascinating photos where the amounts of water are not really the important matter. I like them for the dramatic scenery and in two cases for the inclusion of people indicating dimensions, providing life and colours and for generally creating an exciting atmosphere.
Best wishes,
Gert

Hi Craig
I like this shot it gives a good impression of its size and the people give added interest and colour. Images in the workshop give an added perspective.

Hello Craig,
A wonderful view with this combination of the beautiful shapes of the rock formations and the waterfalls, all seen in a great, bright sunlight. The people standing on top, wearing some colourful clothes are well included too, they add a nice contrast with the grey rocks.

Hello Craig,
The people at the top provide scale and animate the scene. Good sharpness and an impressive double waterfall. Tfs!

Hi Craig.
Wonderful this waterfall that falls through this vertical stone wall, it is like an impressive wall, equally great the two photos of the WS in the second one, the falls have great strength, the presence of the group of people comes in handy to compare their height.
Superb brightness and sharpness management, to enjoy the details.
The beautiful color highlights the image more.
Well seen and done. I like.
Have a nice day.
Very best regards.
Luis.

Hello Craig, three very impressive shots.
In 'Start Point' those people seem dangerously close to the edge for my liking.
In the main shot the people add spots of colour surrounded by the grey and imposing scenery.
I don't know whether I will ever get to see Iceland for real, so I am enjoying your interpretation.
Thanks for sharing.
Kind regards, Jean.
