Photographer's Note

The sky turned to overcast as we continue our discovering of Eastern Fjords. We arrived in the beautiful Stödvarfjördur fjord. There is a village in the middle of this fjord which is named the same as the fjord. It has only 200 people but has a fishing port, a reknown museum, Petra musueum (a remarkable collection of minerals that its founder, Petra Sveinsdottir, collected in eastern Iceland all her life long) and a former cute chapel that now hosts a shop and a café. We were not very luck with the light that time. We expected the light could cross the clouds to enhance the colours of this cute chapel ... but it never happened and we had to go !
