Photographer's Note

It was the end of a beautiful spring day in Budapest when I walked up the hill behind my parents' place for an aromatic walk among blossoming trees. Suddenly one of these men appeared and started a friendly conversation. It turned out they were homeless, had no address, except for their mother's one somewhere in the countryside. I had clearly no intention to take shots of them but they insisted asking me to do so, giving me their mother's address to send one to her... this was the one I have chosen to send, finally. Whoever they may have been, they touched my heart. They so much wanted to be photographed, they were like kids in places where innocence is still the rule.
I thought of uploading this for Valentine's Day, because of the friendship they shared, so simple and very moving.
