Cigar stand in front of the main entrance to the old upper house, Budapest

A custom is a custom: Parliament members like to smoke, especially good quality cigars. For this purpose, when such members likes to take a smoking break from a tiring discussion in the old upper house, they step outside and enjoy the aroma for a while. However, in case something interesting is happening couple of minutes into the start of the smoke, this wide stand comes handy: just place the burning cigar and remember the number (see also workshop). You can judge by the length and ash of the slowly burning cigar if the spontaneous discussion was intense and interesting...
