Between Buda and Pest, a photo from Budapest, West

Photographer's Note

One of the postcard images of Budapest, the famous Lanchid ("Chain Bridge") over the Danube river, linking Buda to Pest.

The photo is taken from the Fisherman's Bastion on the right bank (Buda), without tripod, I put the camera (full-manual Kiev 19) on a stone barrier. Don't remember the exact shutter speed, smth between 2 and 5 sec.

As I had a lot trouble post-processing the image to make it look properly, and still not satisfied with it, I'm looking forward to any kind of advices, hints or workshops... So far I just removed dust, saturated a bit (+15), and rotated the original image by 4 degrees ccw.

You capture a nice yellow tone. Though you have done some edition, it's still a little bit overexposed. I've done a workshot to correct it.

Oh! I tried as well to make a night photo of this bridge. It is really fantastic.
Your shot is very nice. Although to say sincerelly, we both know, that the real view is much more impressive. I must confess that I totally failed with my attemptes to capture it.

Magnifique photo, la couleur or de l'eau se marie parfaitement avec l'éclairage du pont, très bon cadrage, très belles couleurs, excellente composition.
