Brewing Vat, a photo from Budapest, West

Photographer's Note

Although these are now used for decoration the Gerbeaud beer house in the centre of Budapest still brews its own beer on the premises, something I particularly appreciate. Polished up these make very attractive bar room accessories.

Nicely cropped and really good light here. Copper looks SO good when it is clean and shiny; these are attractive industrial devices, and so useful too (well they were when in use)

Glad to see a digital shot with good clarity and detail from you Richard, scans can be so disappointing compared to the original shots.

Very nice composition Richard. The colours of copper surely is very beautiful - I agree. Pitty it is not in use any more - I am sure they made a nice beer here.

All that copper, all that beer that use to be inside the copper....beautful. the light reflected off the beaten surfaces is so unique

Oh very fine image - reminds me of some old photos from Austria - Better take a look, never mind they not as good as this one. I like the fine reflections and sharpness you got this fine brewery with.

Very nice picture of those Brewing Vat... As there is also many beer in Belgium, I know a place where there is brewing vat in my city but as you, they are not useful now... and I will post the bulding for the hunt (abandonned building).
