Photographer's Note
Equestrian statue of Franciszek II Rakoczy.
Franciszek II Rakoczy - the greatest Hungarian magnate of the beginning of the 18th century, leader of the great anti-Habsburg uprising in Hungary in 1703–1711, prince of Transylvania from 1704 to 1711. He was born in the then county of Zemplin. After his ancestors, he took over the traditions of the struggle for Hungarian independence.
Budapest is the capital and the largest city of Hungary, and one of the largest cities in the European Union. It is the country's principal political, cultural, commercial, industrial, and transportation centre, sometimes described as the primate city of Hungary.
The Budapest Metropolitan Area is home to 3.3 million people. The city covers an area of 525 square kilometres within the city limits. Budapest became a single city occupying both banks of the river Danube with a unification on 17 November 1873 of west-bank Buda and Óbuda with east-bank Pest.

Hello Krzysztof,
More than the equestrian statue, I notice the very beautiful building. I suspect this is part of the Hungarian Parliament.
But it's not the Hungarian flag that we see in the upper right corner.
The plants at the bottom add some depth in the picture.
Good clarity and sharpness.
Best regards, Paul

Krzysztof, that sculpture is dedicated an important personage of Hungarian history, it represents a horse rider. The wonderful palace forms a nice background and the flowers add vivid colors in the fg. Good sharpness and pov, regards.

Witaj Krzysztof,
You have found another very strong statue. I always think mounted figures have a very strong presence and when the horse is rearing, it looks even better!
You have exposed the photograph well and positioned the focal statue nicely off-centre
I like how the colours on the buildings coordinate with the plinth.
My warm regards,
Bev :-)

Hi Krzysztof
I love its 2 D feel, almost like compressed perspective clicked from this viewpoint with the prominent steals the eye. There's lot more details to enjoy certainly is a spectacular spot and you caught some pretty bright summer colour as well. Lovely shot

Hello Krzysztof.
Splendid POV with this beautiful equestrian statue, against the background of that beautiful building, in the upper parts of it we can admire a neo-gothic style.
Wonderful colors, excellent sharpness and light.
You have a good day.
Very best regards, my friend.
