is the seat of the National Assembly of Hungary, one of Europe's oldest legislative buildings, a notable landmark of Hungary and a popular tourist destination of Budapest. It lies in Kossuth Lajos Square, on the bank of the Danube, in Budapest. It is currently the largest building in Hungary[1], and the second largest Parliament in Europe

History
Budapest was united from three cities in 1873 and seven years later the National Assembly resolved to establish a new, representative Parliament Building, expressing the sovereignty of the nation. A competition was published, which was won by Imre Steindl, but the plans of the other two competitors were also realized, facing the Parliament: one serves today as the Ethnographical Museum, the other as the Ministry of Agriculture.

Construction from the winning plan was started in 1885 and the building was inaugurated on the 1000th anniversary of the country in 1896, and completed in 1904. (The architect of the building went blind before its completion.)
There were about one thousand people working on its construction in which 40 million bricks, half a million precious stones and 40 kg gold were used.

What a beautiful light you had here. It hits the abundant architecture of the Hungarian Parliament wonderfully. Beautiful view of the city with a good composition, especially the tree is the left hand foreground is well included.

Hello Burak,
I like the point of view and the contrasts between foreground and background architecture. The light is very appealing and the colours natural and well rendered. Good framing offered by the tree on the left though I would be inclined to remove the lamp on the right.

You show us a wonderful view of the Hungarian Parliament Building, but also the city generally.
But all details are very well to see.
Nice architecture picture with the church as subject between the buildings.

A splendid high pov overlooking the Danube and the attractive architecture of this beautiful city. The Hungarian Parliament Building and the bg domed structure grab the viewers attention. I like the soft pastel colors and the warm cold color contrast between the yellowing leaves and the pale grey blue sky. Tfs!

beautiful classical postcard type presentation from Budapest. I had the pleasure to enjoy this view a long time ago but without any camera with me. Looking at your beautiful picture I want to go back there again.
Lovely composition with some vegetation in the left creating a nice framing for the scene, also adding some autumnal colors. The parliament house is spectacular -it probably looks best from this exact angle.
