Photographer's Note
I struggled what title should I use here. I thought I will use the name of the church which you see here, but it is called Church Panagia Grigorousa Agii Taxiarches ke Agios Fanourios. Too long. Then I thought about the square in the foreground which is a part of Roman Agora of Athens, but then again there is not much of it actually visible in this scene so it would be an abuse to use its name.
This was my second visit to Athens. I spent there now 4 days and I have the satisfaction of having visited most of the places I intended to see, in a leisurely family mode of sightseeing. I loved this town, and I would be more than happy to have more time for walking around at various times of the day and taking hundreds of photos.

Hello Mariusz,
I recognise the places in your photos from Athens and often I think I have been there and I didn't take a photo. Why not?
I guess the reason is that you manage to take a really nice picture of something that I think is rather ordinary when I'm on the spot and seeing your picture afterwards I'm amazed.
The foreground here is very interesting and not only the church but also the houses look very beautiful.
I hope you've also taken a detailed photo of the light blue house with its shutters, the lantern and their shadows on the facade.
Excellent photo job!
Best regards, Paul

Good morning Mariusz,
This is a small ruins park near the Monasteraki square and taken this picture from an other side that I saw this place. But I recognize the building around.
A fine photo, clear, vivid and well lit.
Have a nice new day,
Ike

Witaj Mariusz,
Fantastic warm cold colour contrasts between the blue sky and the red tiled roof of the monastery. The yellow and pink facades enhance the effect. An interesting fg too that adds depth and layering to this superb composition. Perfect sharpness throughout. Tfs!

even with a family 4 days is a nice amount of time in athens.I usually calculate 2 whole days to see the main attractions in a medium attractive city as athens, because I walk a lot while travelling. huge atractive places like paris, london, NY, Rio, Rome deserves much more time... I remember this church and the ruins. a nice vertical image of the area.
take care

Hello Mariusz,
A good vertical composition, which includes both the ancient remnants in the area in the foreground and the much more recent buildings and houses in the background, which are seen in a lively and bright sunlight. Very well done.

Hi Mariusz
A good photo of these archaeological remains tucked amongst more modern buildings. I was meant to have my second visit to Athens this year but we all know what happened!
cheers

Hello Mariusz.
A really well executed composition, with this close-up of the archaeological field, with the remains of columns and other elements, while the fence separates it from the street where we see some beautiful new houses and a church, the colors of these buildings are very attractive and are a good contrast, for the past and the present.
The management of color and light are magnificent, highlighting the beauty and sharpness of the image.
Very well done. I like
Have a good day.
Very best regards.
Luis.
