Photographer's Note

The Waterfalls of Dimosari are near Nidri at the Lefkada island. In the summer the waterfall is small but many tourists come to get a swim in the cold water. It ends up into a gorge which is replete with white rocks.

The name “Dimossari” has been derived from the word “Dimos” which used to be the ancient state where numerous watermills were found.

This photo has been taken in the winter when the waterfall is quite big, after plenty of rain. The light however was quite harsh and it was difficult to find POV and not to take overburned photo.
