Photographer's Note
Meteora is an area in Thessaly (Central Greece). The thing that makes Meteora so special is the monasteries on the top of the rock towers. This place is something like monasteries kingdom. This is one of seven monastery.

This place is just awesome Philip
Didn't they use one of those monasteries for a James Bond movie once?
Must have been quite a treat to visit that.

Hi Philip!
Stupendous view of this monastery perched on top of its rock! The ensemble overlooking the valley is very impressive! The red roofs enhance the whole lot. Greece is definitely a country of monasteries, churches and chapels. I experienced it in Crete.

Man O Man! What a location! Whoever thought of putting up a place to live up there, hats off to him.
Simply superb composition and details! I wish a Human element was also present which would have shown off the scale of this construction, especially if one was found climbing up the stairs on the left.
On a lighter note, just curious, "what do they do about their waste water management"?
Cheers, Blue
