Villa Gayannis-Konstantinides, a photo from Magnisia, Thessaly

Photographer's Note

Many of the old beautiful mansions of Zagora (the "capital" of North Pelion), have been converted nowadays in picturesque guesthouses. One of them is Villa Gayannis(current owner)-Konstantinides (old owner)-Αρχοντικό Γκαγιάννη-Κωνσταντινίδη, a building constructed in 1770. The bedrooms are on the building on the right of the picture, the other building is used as dining room. During winter, breakfast is served inside, but during summer you can enjoy it in the garden, having a beautiful view at the Aegean.

A story (and photos, See some of them here) about North Pelion will be included in the 8th edition of "Explore Nature" magazine, going out tomorrow (Saturday 22 November)as a suplement to the daily national greek newspaper "Ethnos". There will be also included a theme about Hania ( Some of the photos, here )

wonderful blue hour shot! The moon seems to be a huge light source in the sky, just beautiful and there`s so much detail on the wall of the house. Beautiful scenery, well captured by you, I like it a lot!
