I saw pictures of the heavy snow in Greece today on the news. A good photo of the snowy town and I especially like the snow against the palm trees. Well done.

Hello Costantino,
I just saw in the news broadcast on TV the winter images of Athens and the Acropolis that were snowed under.
Beautiful to see but a lot of cars were blocked on the roads for hours.
So also in your hometown it has snowed and you had just been on a winter holiday to the mountains :)
For me it's a strange combination to see palm trees and snow together.
I hope you are not too cold.

A very interesting image. We do not think of Greece having snow. I saw on the news that some people were trapped in their cars in Athens!

Not even these palm trees can create a truly tropical feeling when there is so much snow on the ground. There have been many reports recently about the chaos created by the snow in large parts of Greece and also Turkey. In Stockholm there is no snow at all. This is a good photo with a fine light and pleasantly soft colours, but it makes me feel cold.

According to the news, Greece is suffering from the snow storm. The point of view is showing the details of the trees and of the buildings in the background. There is a good contrast between the colors of the picture. Have a nice day.

I see the palm trees do not hold strait as strong winds bent them.
Managed fairly well to contrast white snow to gray sky above city houses.

Snow in Greece has been reported on our news channels.
I suspect that these palm trees will rarely have been decorated in such a way! They do make a very artistic f/g, clearly revealing their textured trunks.

It is certainly a great opportunity for rare photos. I have seen photos of Acropolis of Athens covered with snow. This feels so unique.
Here you have well emphasized the contrast of the cold snow and the palm trees so typical for warm destinations.
At the back a colorful town.

That's one of the best in your snow series, Constantino. The snow on the side of the palm trees, the marina in the background, the blue/grey sky still threatening to drop more... it works.

Strange that Volos sees so much snow and we in the (relative) north don't. Do you actually like the snow, or is it only nice for the occasional picture? (I don't like it much myself, so I'm happy to go without!)
