daydream (daydreaming) is a short-term detachment from one's immediate surroundings, during which a person's contact with reality is blurred and partially substituted by a visionary fantasy, especially one of happy, pleasant thoughts, hopes or ambitions, imagined as coming to pass, and experienced while awake.

There are many types of daydreams, and there is no consistent definition amongst psychologists, however the characteristic that is common to all forms of daydreaming meets the criteria for mild dissociation

Humanistic psychology on other hand, found numerous examples of people in creative or artistic careers, such as composers, novelists and filmmakers,developing new ideas through daydreaming. Similarly, research scientists and mathematicians have developed new ideas by daydreaming about their subject areas... .Etc..W..

Un merveilleux paysage marin et excellente perspective. On aurait envie d'embarquer sur un de ces bateaux. Bonne gestion de l'éclairage entre ombre et lumière et la partie ombragée en avant-plan donne de merveilleux reflets.

I see in background a very nice boat, a little bit to much for my purse, also a nice panoramic view about these area.

Hi Georgios,

I always daydream about travelling in other countries. it would be nice to go with a boat from one Greek island to another. I like the peaceful dreamy atmosphere, nice composition and colours.

Ahh the boats of Georgios, they are unmistakable. I like this vertical frame, the wonderful reflections and patterns in the water and that famous Grecian Blue of the water. It's almost as good as taking a holiday there :)

όμορφο και γαλήνιο το σκηνικό με την μοναχική βάρκα να δεσπόζει και να γίνεται το σημείο αναφοράς της φωτογραφίας.Μου αρέσει το κοντραστ μεταξύ του φωτεινού μέρους της φωτογραφίας και του σκοτεινού,όπως και τα χρώματα αυτής.

Καλησπέρα Γεώργιε και χρόνια πολλά,
μια πολύ όμορφη εικόνα με εκπληκτικό βάθος και προοπτική. Η κόκκινη βαρκούλα κάθεται πολύ ωραία πάνω στο νερό και μέσα στη σύνθεσή σου. Η θέα ανοίγεται σταδιακά και αποφασιστικά για να συμπεριλάβει πολλά ακόμη ενδιαφέροντα και ωραία στοιχεία. Μου αρέσει πάρα πολύ η στιγμή της λήψης, γεμάτη αντιθέσεις που κάνουν την εικόνα συναρπαστική. Η διαβάθμιση στο φωτισμό και τα χρώματα είναι υπέροχη. Συγχαρητήρια και ευχαριστώ!
