Photographer's Note

Most of my photographs were taken on the spur of the moment, very quickly, just as they occurred. All attention focuses on the specific instant, almost too good to be true, which can only vanish in the following one.
I have never separated form and content. The photo should have a meaning. But my photos are also more or less well constructed. If they had false notes, they stayed on the contact sheet.
I have never sought the unexpected, the novelty, the extraordinary, but rather what is most typical of our daily life... I go out to find people who resemble me, and the mirror which these images offer them is the same as that in which I see myself.

Hello Georgios,
This is an excellent composition, very charming and touching. The little girl's shadow is well captured in the opposite corner, giving the photo a good balance and an invisible diagonal. The conversion to b&w reminds me of photos from the classic periods of the 40's and 50's, photos we nowadays admire in museums.

i also like the classic feeling of this b&w photo, and i like the use of shadows in this well captured daily life scene. I guess b&w was the best option in this moment, especially since you have the light in your face and a situation like this, well done!

sorry, that I'm not going to make you any points for this picture you've done wonderfully, but this snapshot you capture this a little girl in B&W color and shedow is fantastic with sharpness, POV great. I like the lighting and contrast. This photo is executed great. Thanks for sharing.

This photo reminds me of some of the old diapositives hidden somewhere in the attic of the seventies.
Very well framed and caught in exact the right moment, this makes a gorgeous graphical shot. Black and white is the perfect choice for this one.

Kalimera dear Georgios

A delightful photo, with wonderful plays of light and shade. The little child, and her shadow make a wonderful symmetry and graphism. Interesting the choice of B&W, I prefer colour with children, but here the light and shade are accentuated by your choice of B&W.

This is a lovely image in B&W of the little girl swinging.The shadow makes the photograph more prominent.The position of the girl in the top right indicates movement which again gives a touch of reality to the image.Good sharpness and clarity.TFS.

looking at a scene such as this one, it does one thing very well for the viewers - it takes us back to our own childhood, it becomes a very Personal photo.

This is a scene we can all relate to on some level.
thats why its so successful.

Different from your usual! I like the composition in diagonal. The shadow is just great and the b&w was a great choice here!
