Travelling light, a photo from Magnisia, Thessaly

Photographer's Note

Returning back home on Friday night there was a lot of traffic on the highway, as many people took advantage of 28th October national celebration to make a 5 day weekend. Night on the highway we are just another couple of travelling lights.
Shot taken from the bridge on Agioi Theodoroi intersection. Have a nice - and as long as possible - weekend.

P.S. No tripod, so I had to take the risk and put my camera on the protection bars of the bridge.

Hi Con, without a tripod you've done a fantastic job, the star effect of the street lights really add to your shot, great capture of the moving traffic.

Η πρακτική της χρησιμοποίησης σταθερού αντικειμένου αντί για τρίποδο είναι πολύ αποτελεσματική. Είναι μια ωραία βραδινή φωτογραφία με εφέ. Καλό θα ήταν άν μπορούσες να είχες αποφύγει το μπροστινό στύλο.

no tripod and you had such a calm hand for 15 seconds? that is amazing. your photo with the car trails is nice. the high f18 might be a bit to high, you could have work here with f8 to f11, but still fine. with my best wishes, valentinos

Geia sou Kosta!

I nyxterini fotografisi einai to agapimeno mou "eidos", i fotografia sou einai pragmatika entyposiaki. Exairetiko to simeio lipsis, poly prosegmeni synthesi, i kampili tou dromou dimiourgei mia entyposiaki prooptiki. Ta foteina "potamia" einai fantasmagorika! Sygxaritiria!

Γεια σου Κώστα, εντυπωσιακός ο τρόπος που έχουν γράψει τα φώτα τόσο από τα διερχόμενα αυτοκίνητα όσο και των προβολέων που μοιάζουν σαν αστέρια. Ο συνδυασμός του μεγάλου χρόνου έκθεσης και του μικρού διαφράγματος λειτούργησε πολύ καλά. Αν και χωρίς τρίποδο η οξύτητα είναι εξαιρετική. Σε χαιρετώ,

Well managed the time exposurer in order to cacht the cars in movement.
