Saw this old fella taking his shopping home. I think he'd just been to the market. Obviously his back seems to be giving him trouble.
It was nice to see that locals as well as tourists are in a tourist hot spot like Santorini.

Santorini is a marvellous island, but at least Fira seemed rather spoiled by mass tourism. This elderly gentleman looks unharmed by the invasion. It's a nice glimpse of daily life as it must always have been.

I visited Santorini last October and even then there were quite a few tourists (although I suspect it must have been a fraction of the numbers in earlier years). So it's nice to see this quaint scene with a local character as the main subject of your photo.

He looks like how I felt after a bush walk with my grandsons on the weekend. A good street photo with both a good touch of classic Santorini as well as the man struggling with his bag of food (plums?)

Such a lovely, daily life scene!
Very well timed!
We cannot help but feel the anguish for this old man as he tries to negotiate the cobbles and soon the steps, whilst carrying a load, holding his stick and adjusting his trousers!
Life gets harder as you age!
