Photographer's Note

This is a piece of the north coast of Naxos. What you can see is an ancient tower of the Venetian period. Whole the island is scattered with traces that are evidence of the domination of Venice. The biggest is the fortified town, named "Castro", that represents the higher and oldest part of Hora, the capital of Naxos.
In the background of this picture you can see the island of Paros.
