Photographer's Note

This is my second post from Mykonos (a nightshot again) and I would like to say a couple of things about my aproach to photography. Of course the most important thing is light, after all photography is a greek word that means "writing with light". The second most important thing is, in my opinion the point of view, especially in landscape photography. I take the opportunity to write about it now, because I always spend a lot of time searching for the right POV. I had seen a lot of panoramic views of Mykonos and almost all of them were taken from a certain point, right above the "Windmill of Bonis", that seemed to me a "poor" one. It took me a couple of hours walking around the paths on the hills above Mykonos, to find this spot, which I think is the better one that someone can find in the island.

In the photo you can see the old port and the windmills, the trademark of the island, in the background the "Kanalia" and in the deep background the silhouette of the "holy" island of Delos.

***This photo is dedicated to Korkut (bostankorkulugu)
, whose love for Mykonos is clearly visible on his posts from the island.
