Sunrise with Leonidas, a photo from Ahaia, Peloponnesus

Hello everyone!

Last night I thought I'd get up early today and catch the sunrise so I set the alarm for 04h00.
The alarm goes off, I wake up, switch it off and fall asleep again with the alarm in my hand! I only got 3 hours sleep last night... :)
Anyway, woke up again, with a fright of course, at 04h50 and made it down to the seaside a little before sunrise, just in time to set up and take only a couple of pics! Phew!

Hi Costa,

Lovely photo! The 30D in your hands did it so well, sparkling colours, amazing blue! The sharpness is very fine and ofcourse..the effect on the water by the longer exposure, very well done! Good balanced composition with the boat in the lower left corner and allready some detail and colour in the sky at the upper right corner. Can even count the pebbles in front.
A fine work at seaside, so calm! Good morning!

it's simply fantastic!!! It worthed while to wake up at 4! It would have been very difficult for me (I like to sleep!).
Stunning colours, great POV: this shot is a poetry in itself and I put it in my favourites.

HI COsta,

Good early wake up…..it is a hard work definitely but with nice result that worth it!
I like here unusual mixture of the natural long time exposed seascape and its counterpoint the front of the boat with strong vivid colors. Very eye catching and unique!
The only negative point - on my monitor the water burnt out a bit.
