Photographer's Note

Myrina is the "Chora" capital of Lemnos Island with the main port and two districts between her castle.
Romeikos Gialos (Ρωμαίικος Γιαλός): North of the castle is one of the two main districts of the city with magnificent neoclassical mansions, all built in the second half of the 19th century. It was the Greek quarter years of Ottoman rule and was named as opposed to the Turkish Yialos, located east of the castle and the place where the Turks lived. These houses testify to the power and wealth of the inhabitants of Lemnos who worked as traders in the cosmopolitan centers of the season, Odessa, Trieste and Alexandria.

I also like the rhythm given by the alternation of shadow areas and sunny zones.

δεν ξέρω εαν και παλαιότερα χρησιμοποιούσες τον ίδιο φακό,ή διαφορετική επεξεργασία, αλλά τώρα βλέπω ότι η ποιότητα της αποτύπωσης των σπιτιών του Ρωμέικου Γιαλού είναι απλώς εξαιρετική.Το πολύ καλό βάθος πεδίου και η ορατή λεπτομέρεια είναι τα κύρια χαρακτηριστικά της φωτό σου.

Excellent choice of the vertical format here emphasizing the height of the buildings. The road leads the eye through the shot nicely. The lighting and colors are great and the photo has fine sharpness. The people sitting on the steps add life and a sense of scale for the shot.

it looks like a relaxed place to be and rather different architecture compared with Cyclades. No white houses and blue doors ? I think you have choosen a fine Pov for this shot. Nice perspective and a great note, well done !
