Photographer's Note

The Prefecture of Kastoria is located on the western part of West Macedonia in Greece (Geocodes: 40°52′00″N 21°26′00″E). It connects with the prefectures of Florina, Grevena, Kozani and Ioannina as well as with Albania from the west side.
The city of Kastoria is found at a height of 620m.
It is build on a peninsula that is surrounded by the lake of Orestiada and the breathtaking mountains of Grammos and Vitsi.
According to the last census the population of the prefecture was 53.483 people,
while the city of Kastoria has 20.636 residents.
Kastoria is connected with Athens through an airline and the Airport "Aristotelis" that is found at Argos Orestiko.
Access to the prefecture has become now easier through the usage of Egnatia Interstate road.
Alternatively, one may use the old high way.

Hi dear Vasilis,
Wonderfull capture from Kastoria. Good pov and very nice light. Two trees at left and right creates a perfect natural framing.
Nice the clouds opver the hills at far backside.
Interesting and usefull notes.

Magnificent picture!
Sharpness, exposure, chosen pov, dof, colors, horizontal format, white borders with shadows, contrasts and composition are all oustanding features here!
Everything looks so pleasant and I specially like seeing all those buildings in the town, the mountais with clouds in the bg and the different colors of the leaves of the trees!
