Photographer's Note

Olympiada is a small village in Macedonia province of Greece. They say that the name comes from the name of lady Olimpiada - the mother of Alexander the Great and the unfaithful wife of Philip of Macedonia. She was sent on exile to this place. If they sent me on an exile to this place, do not worry about me - I'd be perfectly content with my destiny! The gulf is excellent for swimming during the long summer - some people have checked that long before me: check for yourself, if you don't beleive, ;-)))

Not far from here - some two or three kilometers higher in the hills has been the famous ancient town of Stagira, where Aristotle was born in 384 BC... No, no! Do not mistake him for Aristotle Onassis, who married JFK's wife Jackie!-)) This Aristotle was the the great ancient philosopher, who invented Logic!
