Awsome picture Yiannis! I love this view. You've really captured an aspec of traditional architecture that most of us would otherwise not be aware of. The roof in the foreground is a nice detail, showing close up just what these roofs are made of. The texture of all the roof together is beautiful. From this view the buildings blend very nicely with their surroundings. I just wish your note was more expressive and detailed because I want to know as much as possible about this place.

Another good example of Trekearth quality of a good posting. Photograph of fine detail and very well composed with geographic value. The deatil is on the roofworks. For weather like this, you would need graduated ND filter to subdue the strong skylight Yiannis.

Great colors in this shot and contrast. The wet roofs have such great texture with the way the slate is piled. The wet and the reflections of the water help enhance that feel. And it helps enhance the greenery in the shot. It looks like an autumn shower rather than a fall shower with all this green. Your point of view captures the roofs nicely as they act like stepping stones down the slope and into the distance. And it links up just right with the valley between the obscured mountain and the nearer slope. And the textures go right on. Nicely seen.
