Photographer's Note

Just above Astraka's towers. Altitude aprox. 1900m. Mountaineering towards Astraka's summit 2436m.

Στις 9 Μαρτίου 2009 έφυγε από τον κόσμο που ζούμε ένας καλός άνθρωπος, ένας αγαθός άνθρωπος από εκείνους που δύσκολα συναντάς. Δεν κοιτούσε την τσέπη αλλά τα μάτια σου.
Τον γνώρισα το βράδυ της 11ης Νοεμβρίου 1998, ημέρα Τετάρτη. Έκτοτε γίναμε φίλοι και εκείνος ο συνδετικός κρίκος με το Πάπιγκο.
Κερνούσε καφέ στο μαγαζί του και καθόταν μαζί μας να τον πιούμε και να συζητήσουμε φιλικά, με όλη τη σημασία της λέξης. Μας έβλεπε ελάχιστα, γιατί εμείς παίρναμε τα βουνά, αλλά τα λέγαμε αργά το βράδυ ή πολύ νωρίς το πρωί συνήθως κατά την αποχώρηση.
Θυμάμαι τις εκφράσεις του προσώπου του, το χαμόγελό του, την ανοιχτή του καρδιά.
Στενοχωριέμαι που δεν θα τον ξαναδώ εκεί που έμαθε να ζει, να μαστορεύει και να πίνει τους καυμούς του.
Ξέρω ότι την επόμενη φορά που θα περνώ τον Αι Βλάση δεν θα με περιμένει. Δεν θα έχει ετοιμάσει το δωμάτιο για να μείνουμε.
Ας είναι καλά η ψυχή του εκεί που βρίσκεται, για να προσέχει τα τρία παιδάκια του. Τα αγαπούσε και φρόντιζε για το καλό τους. Πόσο μάλλον τώρα!

Κι αν δεν ανέβηκε ποτέ στην ζωή του …. ψηλά, ρωτούσε εμάς που …. ανεβήκαμε, πως είναι!
Δική μας ήταν η χαρά να του πούμε, να του δείξουμε φωτογραφίες και να του δώσουμε για καδράρισμα όποιες ήθελε.

Είναι βέβαιο ότι τώρα πλέον δεν έχει την ανάγκη μας, πάει πολύ πιο ψηλά!

The composition is well seen and ends for a very spectacular purpose. I imagine that it must be a fantastic place to traverse in excursion. The sky is sumptuous, contrasts are astonishing. The light and the colors are agreeably natural. congratulations.

Πετυχημένη η σύνθεση, αυτή την εντύπωση μου δίνει: μια σκάλα για τον ουρανό. Κατά τα άλλα το ανοιξιάτικο πράσινο με το μπλε του ουρανού και τα σύννεφα ανάμεσα δημιουργούν πολύ καλά συναισθήματα κι ένα εντυπωσιακό σκηνικό.

Bonjour Athanasios,
une vue spectaculaire qui nous place dans les nuages ou du moins à leur hauteur. Une image qui se divise bien entre ciel et terre avec des contrastes de lumières fantastiques.

Kαι εσυ σαν καλός του φίλος του αποδίδεις φόρο τιμής τόσο με τον αγνό και ντόμπρο λόγο σου οσο και με μια φωτογραφία που λέει πολλά.Και όπως πάντα νοιώθω και λέω φωτογραφία δεν είναι μόνο οτι φαίνεται.Το δύσκολο μερικές φορές είναι να δείξεις αυτό που δεν φαίνεται με σκοπό να το κατανοήσει αυτός που την βλέπει.Και αν δεν το κατανοήσει βέβαια αυτός χάνει,εσύ έχεις κάνει αυτό που πρέπει...Πανέμορφη η φωτογραφία σου αλλά και απίστευτα τα σημειώματα σου περιμένω με ανυμοπονησία τα επόμενα...
