Photographer's Note
After a wonderful week on Crete I am posting this shot of the Triopetra beach called Akoumia with its famous three rocks. The southern part of Crete is not very touristy and therefore this wonderful long beach is not so over-populated. The small roads are not that easy to find and the signs are all in Greek only. It was a very windy day and so there were huge waves coming in. Some of our group did have the courage to get into the sea and seemed to have lots of fun being turned upside down in the waves.

Hi Ulrike,
Nice coastal photo showing well these three rocks, indeed there appearance is nice, but so is the total photo. Good contrast, sharpness and light. Good timing with the wave in front. A bit of vignette in the corners. Fine composition, the foreground details are put there in a clever way, also like the POV close to the sea.
Regards.
