Byzantine walls, a photo from Hania, Crete

No, I was not mistaken, this is a part of the Byzantine walls, which were mostly used for the construction of houses and apartments, became part of the buildings. It is difficult to notice here because parts of the walls are plastered and painted, but somewhere, as in the photo in WS, it is clearly visible. However, it is a building that has been partly abandoned.

Lovely detail from wonderful Chania, Aleksander. Great colours and light obviously, the title/note is a big plus too.

Ciao Alex,2 example of bizantine style in Chania, a closer view so bright and yellow very well detailed, but for me the WS is better,fantastic backlight and imposing perspective showing these buildings a bit in ruin in a great way. Have a nice day and thanks,Luciano
