Photographer's Note
Chania Agora is the city's classicistic market hall from 1913, with a cross-shape layout covering an area of 4000 sqm. When we visited the place on our honeymoon in 1987, mostly victuals were sold, with the common tourist stuff only on a minor scale. As far as I know, this has changed since.
It is strange that the school in which I have served since has now developed an exchange with a Chania school which will start in March/May.
Captured on film with Canon A1, scan from paper print.

An amazing photo from your archive, a great document and a nice scene that shows life on Crete 30 years ago, certainly a lot has changed there to the present day
I wish you a lot of health and power in your arm :)
