Photographer's Note

The lighthouse at the Old Port is the most popular point of the town of Chania, in Crete island, Greece. It was originally built by the Venetians, and refurbished later by the Egyptians, which is why many still call it "the egyptian lighthouse". It is fully operational and dominates the landscape of the old port, which would lay at the left side of the picture.
