Photographer's Note

I'm not entirely sure this is Evia. The plane that left Athens Airport heading to Leros was unusually big for this line and, for some reason, flew a long way north before it took a long turn towards south Aegean. I didn't have a window seat this time but did try a few shots so I could share this extraordinary sight.

A great part of Greece has been covered in snow, even islands that had never known this experience before and have remained without electricity and water for almost a week now. Things aren't bad on Leros and the rest of the Dodecanese islands, we only got rain, winds and too much cold.

Thank you for visiting
