Photographer's Note
The mosque of Emir Zade, Characteristic monument of the period of the turkish occupation of Evia. To the north - east there is a marble fountain with a carved inscription.
The monument is right now closed for the public (well, it was not ever open!) and at the backyard are many ruins of greek style marble columns and other greek ancient remains of temples and houses.
This monument is very close to the old bridge of Evripos and Paralia of Chalkis.
An interesting site to view when you'll come to my city!
> Please take a look at my other photo of this fine mosque!

Hi Mpampis. A pleasant architectural detail from your hometown - nice upward angle yielding crisp textural details in the façade, and a good play of shadows in the bottom area. Beautiful colors, and in general I appreciate the natural look of this one. Well done.

Very interesting angle, even some laundry drying at the bottom right. A few years ago I was standing in line to buy a train ticket at the Xalkida station on the mainland side, the woman in line in front of me was speaking in turkish to her child. So I guess some turks still live there.

Ωραίο το χρώμα του ήλιου σε αντίθεση με το μπλε του ουρανού. Ωραία η γωνία που την τράβηξες
