Photographer's Note
I have such a biiig nose I could only fit into a panoramic photo... but due to certain "aspect ratio limitations" I can not.
Anyone interested in a 1800x1000 photo just e-mail my official photographer (Panos) and ask for one...
BTW, you know what they say about Tucans' big noses, eh?

A fantastic bill (nose) those Tucan's have. I like the mix of colors (orange, white, black and blue). Great shot, good use of DOF.
BTW - It should be possible to post panoramic photos on TE now.

A very placativ shot, brilliant colours. Could be a "commercial" for Kodak or other films. But entering the "digi-era"...
Very well shot, composed, also funny

Panos, this one has my preference, you know it :-)
This image is really great. Colors are really saturated, and the dof is just perfect, hiding the background. Congrats !

It's hard to compose a picture of such extremities, but you managed well ;)
Bravo!

Very nice close up, the colors and details on the bird are amazing. Well seen, nice contribution to the "Fauna" theme.

All the colours in this photo are amazing! The red, yellow, orange, and blue. The blue of the tucan's eye is unbelievable! The DOF is great too.
My only suggestion for improvment would be the white pole in the background.

Hmm... I could translate Wojtek's comment, the gist of it, is that tucan's and colours appear to be very popular and perhaps there should be a little more to a photograph than just its colours. I guess Wojtek does not like an image that is only composed of a reasonable composition and colour and is somewhat surprised that so many members on the site like brightly coloured images. I think Wojtek would possibly like to see more of images depicting Greek daily life, he did not say how to alter the images aside from saying, enough of Tucans.
I like the composition and the colours, the workshop also works very well. However, I would prefer to see the whole bird and perhaps notice its surrounding environment. Does this bird live in the wild in Greece? Is it a pet to someone? Does it live in a zoo? Technically it is a good image.
