Photographer's Note

Taken during the traditional changing of the guard in front of the Greek Parliament building, which is done every hour, and of course attracts many cameras. The only more impressive 'change' I saw only in Monaco years ago.
The soldiers are called 'evzoni', and they actually guard the tomb of the Unknown soldier, which you can see on the left. They wear the recognizable national costumes which date back from the 19th century, and are from southern Greece. To be chosen for this honour, the boys have to be at least 6 feet high.
I wanted a more classical photo, so I'm uploading a B&W version, and will add a colour version as a WS.
