Photographer's Note

Don't even think that Athens is so quiet and peaceful. I had to wait about 4-5 minutes for no one cross the road and not many cars appear in scene. After one second the main road was overrun by cars like locusts that came from the right side. The two cars and the moto were moving with slow speed until stoped at traffic lights. It is too difficult to catch such a shot because phone camera is very slow.

As always this photo taken by a phone camera and this is the result after some process.
The post size is 192 Kb and after downloading (without exif data) must be greater than 200 Kb

A very interesting picture - instead of the main tourist attractions it shows the everyday life, the traffic and a typical (typical?) detail of this metropolis. I like it. The POV and the spirit of the picture too.

Cool capture, good lighting and color balance. Thanks for posting this simple, everyday view of an overlooked part of Athens - I used to walk past this place everyday on my way to catch the bus to Zografou (NTUA campus).
