street art in Acropolis
The Acropolis of Athens is an ancient citadel located on a rocky outcrop above the city of Athens and contains the remains of several ancient buildings of great architectural and historical significance, the most famous being the Parthenon. The word acropolis is from the Greek words ἄκρον (akron, "highest point, extremity") and πόλις (polis, "city").
The term acropolis is generic and there are many other acropoleis in Greece. During ancient times the Acropolis of Athens was known also more properly as Cecropia, after the legendary serpent-man, Cecrops, the supposed first Athenian king.
While there is evidence that the hill was inhabited as far back as the fourth millennium BC, it was Pericles (c. 495–429 BC) in the fifth century BC who coordinated the construction of the buildings whose present remains are the site's most important ones, including the Parthenon, the Propylaea, the Erechtheion and the Temple of Athena Nike.[2][3] The Parthenon and the other buildings were seriously damaged during the 1687 siege by the Venetians during the Morean War when gunpowder being stored in the Parthenon by the Ottomans was hit by a cannonball and exploded.

Hello Costantino,
I wouldn't call it street art, it is just a mini jewellery stand. Not especially careful composition with only the parts of the bodies. Also, the note has nothing to do with the photo.
Have a nice weekend
Sorry for these words.

Hi Costantino,
Interestingly my wife just showed me today in the morning that she is today wearing some jewelery which she bought in Athens.
I suppose this is a practical souvenir for women or men who like to wear jewelery.
Nice scene of the jewelery stand. The red color in particular catches the attention,

Hello Costantino,
A good close-up photo of these two opened instrument cases with lots of fine pieces of art on display against colourful backgrounds. You captured them from a good angle as well.

Buon weekend,Luciano

Hi Constantino

Hi Costantino
The red splash fits the frame as a strong eye pointer adding so much liveliness to this street candid. Well done

Hi Costantino,
A novel way to display jewellry for sale near the Acropolis, although its not really street art. The diagonal axis adds dynamism. Tfs!
