Today (2008-03-16) I am exactly one year on TE..

...One year...I learned a lot about photography thanks to your comments and advices but also through your photos, MANY THANKS !!!!!!!

On the photo you see the castle "Drachenburg" built from 1882 to 1884 in the town of Königswinter,
it is situated on the right bank of Rhine opposide of Bonn.

Detail as far as the eye can see gives this shot great depth. The orangey colour of the castle blends in well with the surrounding landscape and the castle is well placed in the composition. Beautiful.

Hallo Dimitris. Dein heutiges Photo ist etwas besonderes. Es zeigt die mächtige Drachenburg, die die ganze Umgebung zu beherrschen scheint. Faszinierend ist aber vor allem die beeindruckende Architektur. Das Photo zeigt aber auch, das diese unbefestigte Burg vor allem zum Repräsentieren gedacht war. Ähnlich wier Neuschwanstein wirkt auch diese Burg märchenhaft. Ein schöner photographischer Beitrag, - und wiederum ein gutes Bild für TE. Viele Grüße, Wolfgang.

A wonderful photo for your anniversary on TE which really looks like if it came out straight from a child dream.
Excellent exploitation of the light conditions gave very good shadows that gave to the tower a 3D sense.

Ce château a du servir de modèle à Walt Disney pour dessiner celui de la Belle au Bois Dormant. J'aime cette architecture plus faite pour le décor que pour l'utilité. La photo met cet édifice en valeur de belle façon.

ενας συνδυασμός πολύ εντυπωσιακός με αντίθεση στην θέα, το κάστρο υποβλητικό να κοιτάζει με υπεροψία τήν πόλη και η πόλη να κοίτεται στα πόδια του ανήμπορη να συγκριθεί με αυτην την ομορφιά!!
σαν στα παραμύθια...
