Photographer's Note
This is the cemetery of Wormbach, a tiny village in the "Rothaargebirge". All the graves are designed in the same way with little roofs and therefore it looks like a village in the village. In former times, over 1000 years ago,the coffins were carried to this place within a radius of 50 kilometers and more to bury them here in consecrated ground. It's one of the oldest christian cemeteries of Germany.
This place shows: In death all men are equal

Hello Frank. The subject matter of this photo is sufficiently different to be interesting - I've seen nothing like it before - but I would have preferred it without the long sideways shadows and with some life in the sky.
Even better, I'd have the graves almost fill the photo and dispense with the sky and most of the big tree altogether because they add nothing and they draw attention away from the subject. I scrolled the photo upwards until the bottom of the church windows disappeared from the screen and it looked better (to me) already.
I wonder if taking it from a different angle, perhaps head-on to the graves, would give it more impact. This might also avoid the need to cut through any of the graves as you've had to do here with this quarter-angle shot.
I hope you don't mind this critique coming from a novice? I have a lot to learn about taking photos but I know what I like to see!
