Photographer's Note

This is a shot from the balcony of my 6th floor flat in Freiburg. That's 7th floor if you think that ground level is the 1st floor (strage people :). There has been minimal PP here, the sky was this dark due to rain clouds, but the evening sun from behind me was making the roofs and trees glow.

The spires on the left of the shot are not of the famous Münster (you can just make this out in the dark on the right), but of the Herz-Jesu Kirche, another buitiful church that doesn't get nearly as much attention as the main tourist attractions as it is out of the centre past the train-station. A little bit of history; it was originally built at the end of the 19th century, partially destroyed by bombing in 1944, but re-inaugurated in 1952.
