Photographer's Note
I thought I will use the provoking title here, but I don’t intend to start any philosophical discussion this time. This is one of my favourite churches in Hamburg. I have showed its photo from a distance HERE. This time a fragment of the façade. Even if it is quite a simple idea I liked the slightly unusual final effect.
St. Catherine's Church (German: St. Katharinen) is one of the five principal Lutheran churches (Hauptkirchen) of Hamburg, Germany. The base of its spire, dating from the 13th century, is the second oldest building preserved in the city, after the lighthouse on Neuwerk island. It is situated on an island near what was formerly the southern boundary of the medieval city, opposite the historic harbour area on the Elbe river. It traditionally served as the church of the seamen.

Hello Mariusz, a most unusual point of view; I have been trying to work out how you actually achieved it!
The features stand out as the light has highlighted some parts, and also created shadows.
Very interesting.
Kind regards, Jean.

Hello Mariusz,
I recognised the church when I saw the other photo, but this perspective is wonderful as well. I really like how the shapes and the tower are seen from this viewpoint. Good clarity as well, along with the sunlight it shows the details so well.

Ciekawa perpektywa fasady tego kosciola. Oko ludzie jest przyzwyczajone do bardziej standardowych kadrow, ale ten zasługuje na uwage. Dobra ostrosc i swietna jakosc

Hi Mariusz
Interesting perspective, although I think I'd like it a bit more vertical. A great piece of detail, good colour and sharpness.
cheers

Hello Mariusz,
I can't quite decide about this photograph.
I love the clarity and the richness of the colours and I love your intention to take a photograph which makes us stop and, stand back and really consider the approach.
I think what is a difficult to come to terms with is the square apex.
If you had been able to include the spire, that would have pointed neatly into the corner and created a wonderful diagonal but, for me, the square top prevents that.
Anyway, 10 out of 10 for trying something completely different.
My warm regards,
Bev :-)

Stretched my neck a bit here...
Never mind my humor, Mariusz, the artistic approach made this interesting perspective - just like we see this from street level.
Good evening,

Mariusz, the original pov shows the church seen vertically. It creates some shadows on the facade. The red brick building has a remarkable architecture. Fine colors, good sharpness, instructive photo note, regards.

Hello Mariusz,
Vow, I like your unusual angle. 👍🏻👍🏻 Interesting view of the steeple, perhaps? Is this the facade that contains the steeple?

Hi Mariusz.
Very original this perspective of the tower, I think I have never taken a photo with this diagonal of a tower, but it is a solution when you are in a very small field, because we see the ornaments of it.
Very beautiful color, in some tones, very attractive.
Good brightness management and superb sharpness.
Very well done. My congratulations.
All the best and have a good start to the week.

Hello Mariusz,
A nice straight up view of the church tower, with good sharpness and superb warm vs cold colour contrasts between the blue sky and red brick facade. Tfs!
