Photographer's Note

The Danes were reported to have finished their wild boar fence yesterday which is intended to keep the African swine fever out of their country. The feel their huge swine livestock endangered by infected German wild boar crossing the border. The fence runs across Jutland from North to Baltic Seas.

As a German who has been called a "German swine" on open Danish street even in the sixties, I have a bad feeling about Danes building fences along our common border.

Lets follow the geese: no fences to keep them from living where they want.
Taken on the German shores of Flensburg Fjord, the opposite shore is Denmark.
