Photographer's Note

This is a photo which I took many years ago on a blue hour walk around Lubeck old town. I ventured in the former port area called Media Docks, which was revamped into a restaurant and conference center. In the foreground you can see a small catamaran boat named Hokulea which sounds very much like a Hawaiian word at the same time giving Czech Republic capital as its port of origin.

I have looked up the word hokulea in the dictionary and apparently it means happy in Hawaiian. I have also found out that there is a very famous catamaran travelling around the world which was called Hokulea. It was much larger though so I suppose a fan of the catamarans may have copied this name for his or her little catamaran here. It is a bit surprising to see its original port as Praha (Prague), because Czech Republic, which is recently called Czechia, is a landlocked country. German Baltic Sea coast may be one of the closest coasts for Prague though.

I have just purchased guidebooks to Prague with the hope I will revisit this beautiful city this year. I have been there many years ago without any camera. So I follow here my old photos from Germany but this one became also a teaser of my future trip to Prague.
