Your high vantage point offers a superb overview over this meander in the Saar. I like the framing and the many shades of green to be observed.

Hello Jean-Claude,

It's not quite horseshoe canyon in Arizona, but it's just as spectacular. Only it's much greener & the risk of certain death for one false footstep appears much lower. There is a steep slope here, rather than a sheer 90 degree cliff. Tfs!

It's a beautiful landscape with dense forests and many shades of green, which look very nice in this appealing sunlight. The bend in the river is seen fantastically from this viewpoint.

Hi Jean
This reminds me of both Horse Shoe Canyon in Arizona and the one at Dead Horse Point in Utah but with forest instead of desert. Very impressive.

Awesome view of this mighty river making a tight 180 degree curve deep below in the narrow valley. Nice sunshine shows different tones of green forest well.

En voyant cette photo, beaucoup pensent au “Horse shoe Canyon” aux USA, et pour admettre mon ignorance, je ne savais pas qu’un tel point de vue existait aussi en Europe
Franchement, c’est magnifique, la végétation dense est impressionnante, la composition est excellente, et c’est réconfortant de voir toutes ces forêts.
