Pirmasens is an independent town in Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany, near the border with France. It is famous for the manufacture of shoes. The surrounding rural district was called Landkreis Pirmasens from 1818 until 1997, when it was renamed to Südwestpfalz.

L'Hôtel de Ville de Pirmasens ville allemande située dans le Land de Rhénanie-Palatinat, à proximité de la frontière française. Le nom de la ville provient de saint Pirmin, fondateur de l'abbaye de Hornbach.

Bonjour JJ,

The hotel is a magnificent building, built with red stone, decorated profusely with flowers and perfectly symmetrical. You have given us pin sharp details of its exterior.
I love the flowing patterns of the tiled forefront. It adds to the character and the grandeur of the area.

Hello JJ,

very fine architecture picture showing the town hall of Pirmasens. Very fine sharpness and good colors. The red bricks are typical for that region in Germany.I like the view very much.TFS.

Un point de vue inhabituel en plongée sur l'hôtel de ville très fleuri de la ville allemande. Tu est presque au niveau des armoiries de la ville. Une jolie saturation des couleurs.

I like the wavy Portuguese style tile mosaics in the fg. The bg peole add scale. Impeccable sharpness and a marvellous blue sky that contrasts well against the red rooftops and salmon pink facade of the City Hall building. The greenery added by the flower-boxes adds charm. Tfs!

This is a very attractive symmetrical building Jean Jacques. Taken under good light the contrast between the terracotta coloured facade and bright white window frames is super. I like the rhythmic patterns created by the windows and also those on the ground.

I like the symmetry and the patterned pavement. The colours are perfectly saturated and the whole image crisp and well exposed. Love the window boxes and the trees either side. Beautiful architectural image in context of the street.

don't know where exactly you took this from, but the vantage point is A+

allows for a perfect straight on view of the patterns on the ground and the building.

This is surely a very beautiful city hall, with so many flower pots decorating it. I like the pov and the idea of including the pavement in foreground was just great, it has a very beautiful pattern!
