Photographer's Note

High water of Rhine river was already going down when I took this capture of St. Walburgis, the "white church over Rhine" at Leubsdorf.
My POV was on the NATO ramp, which was provided in cold war times for a pontoon bridge across the stream. I employed my 70-200 mm lens with 2x extender and wanted a very low POV.
Having temporary problems with my knee, I could not get down as far as necessary, and the light was so bright that I could not see anything on my screen. So I aimed "hit or miss", just 20 cms above ground, and scored a hit.
