About the story:

last weekend in case of a fine-weather-period (cold, but a lot of sunshine..) i was once again on my ways around my homevillage to get some pictures of motives i like ..

About the picture:

on my way towards the sheep-paddock (the picture i uploaded yesterday..) i crossed some lonely trees on an agriculture field, which kept my attention..
so here´s a first try of finding the best possible pov for such a tree..
hope you may like, a nice evening to all my friends and guests here on this page..

simple but effective this Winter shot with the lonely tree to dominates the scene.I like the creates lines and curves of the ground as the light snow that has covered the fields.

fantastic landscape photo. I like the subtle decoration of the fields with the snow. It makes a great effect. And the soft colors are very pleasant. Very well used tree: the composition is simple yet brilliant.

I appreciate much these compositions on the topic of the solitary tree, though here I see the top of a "buddy" a little far !!! Good framing with this undulating landscape in background. I feel well the cold with these furrows covered with snow in the fields. Beautiful and resting photo, thank you Bernd.

HAllo Bernd,

du hast Recht , dass ich sehr gerne in die Schweiz und zwar nach Zermatt ins Wallis fahre, weil wir noch jedes mal in den letzten Jahren sehr gutes Winterwetter dort erleben konnten neben dem tollen Panorama mit 28 Bergen über 4000 m die um das Dorf Zermatt angesiedelt sind.

Ich liebe ebenso deine Aufnahme mit Solitaerbäumen in der einsamen Landschaft und ich habe mich auch schon ein Paar mal mit diesem Thema befasst.Sehr gute und gelungenes Bild.

Hello Bernd, nice story, nice photo, the lonely tree photo is almost a classic on TE and not only. I guess its brother was down. I like the framing and the patterns on the field (a bit oversharpened? or it's my monitor settings). Anyway, a very fine take.
