Photographer's Note

The Stumm family was a dynasty of organ manufacturers which produced approx. 370 organs over seven generations, from Cologne to Mannheim and from Luxembourg far into the Odenwald area. Mozart is said to have played their organ at Trinity Church, Mannheim.

This well kept example of their art can be found at Mathiaskirche, Bad Sobernheim. 20 registers are still original Stumm handicraft.

BTW: This capture is a little souvenir from my personal history as I received confirmation in this church half a century ago.
